Questions

Pulmonary Medicine — FAQs

When should I see a pulmonologist?

Consider a consultation for a cough lasting more than three weeks, breathlessness, wheezing, recurrent chest infections, coughing blood, or loud snoring with daytime sleepiness.

Do you evaluate sleep apnea?

Yes. Snoring with pauses in breathing, unrefreshing sleep and daytime tiredness can point to obstructive sleep apnea, which we assess and manage.
